Prantik Saha

Dr. Prantik Saha is a strategy and management consultant at Black & Veatch specializing in firm’s Bankability and Technology Advisory practice where his team de-risks emerging clean energy technologies to facilitate project financing, low-cost insurance, and project deployment. He specializes in solar PV, energy storage, green hydrogen, low-carbon fuels, and carbon capture technologies. With 2.5 years of experience in consulting and 6 years of R&D experience in clean energy; he advises clients by doing conceptual project design, feasibility analysis, technical due diligence, independent technology assessment (bankability), and integrated resource planning (IRP). His clientele includes electric and natural gas utilities, independent power producers, technology manufacturers, and investors (project financing as well as equity investment).
Born in Bangladesh and growing up in India, Prantik got his MS and PhD in Applied Physics from Tufts University and UC Irvine. He also did postdoctoral research at National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL). His research broadly focused on extending lifetime of electrochemical clean energy technologies.
