Noah Ginsburg

Noah Ginsburg is Executive Director at the New York Solar Energy Industries Association (NYSEIA), New York’s trade association for distributed solar + storage. NYSEIA’s mission is to accelerate solar + storage deployment in New York, and to advance the industry through policy/advocacy, public education, member capacity-building, and strategic initiatives. Prior to NYSEIA, Noah spent seven years as program director at Solar One, a clean energy education and technical assistance nonprofit. While at Solar One, Noah built a robust program and team that developed more than 800 solar projects, primarily on affordable housing. Prior to his tenure at Solar One, Noah worked in a variety of analytic roles for leading national residential solar companies and for Sustainable CUNY, where he worked to identify and address barriers to solar in New York City. Noah holds a bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy from the CUNY Baccalaureate program/Hunter College. He is passionate about accelerating local solar adoption while expanding equitable access to the benefits of clean energy.
