Mika Koivisto

Mika Koivisto has worked in the energy sector for the past 17 years in numerous finance and business controlling roles. His expertise is focused on project, lifecycle, and company financials.

Mika is currently Vice President for Finance and Control for Wärtsilä’s Energy Storage business. For over a decade he has held various Managing Director and Board roles across Wärtsilä companies in the Americas. Besides his finance and general management roles, he has also worked in Sales as a General Manager for the lifecycle business for North and South America.

Mika holds a Master of Economics and business administration from Turku School of Economics, Finland. Throughout his career, Mika has lived and worked in seven different countries across four continents. Currently, he calls the San Francisco, California area as his home.
