Fahad Afolabi

Fahad Afolabi serves as Senior Vice President of Project Finance at Arevon. Afolabi is practiced in overseeing the financial structuring of projects from development through construction and into operations, including debt term loans and tax equity.

Afolabi joined Arevon in 2023, and presently, he collaborates with Arevon’s New York-based team to manage the capital formation strategies and third-party financing for the company’s development pipeline. Afolabi’s expertise has shaped the financing and execution of Arevon’s utility-scale solar, energy storage, and solar-plus-storage projects, of which he has been instrumental in securing more than $2 billion in financing.

Prior to working at Arevon, Afolabi was the Director, Capital Markets for Brookfield Renewables, the Director of Project Funding for Greenskies, and the Principal – Structured Finance for SunPower. He also held Analyst roles at Accenture, GlobalData, and PFM Asset Management.

Afolabi completed a Venture in Management Program from Harvard University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.
