Kelly Sarber is CEO/President of Strategic Management Group. with a stellar client list that has included EnCap Energy Transition, Berkshire Hathaway Renewables and Southern California Edison. Currently, Sarber works as a development consultant for 174 Power Global, a Hanwha Company where she is embedded on the management team that is credited with securing a contract with Con Edison in New York City for 100MW of energy storage to be located at a brownfield site that once hosted the Poletti Power Plant in Astoria.

Sarber is an expert in developing complicated, hundred million dollar plus projects with over $5Billion of asset value. Current focus for Sarber is on renewable energy and energy storage siting projects through the value chain – from sourcing greenfield sites thru permitting, financing and operations. Sarber developed the nations’ largest solar project (3.2GW) tying into Starwood Energy’s 500kv line between Arizona and California. Because of her background for many decades working in the waste business, Sarber is incubating companies who are gearing up for solar panel recycling and lith Ion battery recovery/recycling. As a pioneer developing public private partnerships, Sarber has particular expertise deals that tie into wastewater and waste facilities, with innovative projects levering stranded assets that take advantage of waste to energy/RNG operations. Her environmental consulting company has a proven reputation since 1990 in innovative business development advantages and approaches that drive revenue growth and deal origination.

Sarber’s very specialized career has created an unparalleled network of corporations, private equity, venture capital and financial institutions and public agencies that value her innovative approaches that lead to successful projects. She has been credited with orchestrating roll up strategies in the waste and environmental service industries while organically growing business dominance in key markets in all regions of the US. Her current focus is in developing energy storage and solar projects in New York State and California.
