Jacob Steubing

Prior to joining the GridStor team, Jacob was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs focused on solar and energy storage investments. Jacob previously held origination and structuring roles at Recurrent Energy and EDP Renewables North America, and has led origination efforts resulting in over 2 GW of new utility scale solar, wind, and storage installations in power markets across the United States. He has managed medium-term hedging strategies for a gigawatt of merchant assets, and has worked extensively with state-level lawmakers and regulators in the development of renewable and power market policies. Jacob has an undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans, masters degrees in business and public policy from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a CFA Charterholder.
