Ian Manchester

Ian joined DSD in 2017 and has spent time working on all aspects of the Structured Finance team. In his role of Vice President, he and his team are responsible for all ongoing project financings, including debt and equity transactions. These take place monthly across the entire project life cycle, from pre-construction through operations and involve many financial partners. Most recently, Ian lead DSD’s first ABS issuance, which represented the first ABS deal to include community solar.

Prior to joining DSD, Ian worked as a Senior Analyst at Safari Energy on their finance, development and engineering teams to provide solar solutions for many of the country’s largest REITs. He worked with various financial structures and utilities across the US and secured over $10M of incentives.

Ian earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and a MS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He works out of DSD’s New York City office and lives in Brooklyn but does his best to get out of the city often.
