Jason Doling is Assistant Director of the Distributed Energy Resources Team at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). This includes energy storage, distributed solar, and on-site power systems. Jason was a co-lead in developing New York’s Energy Storage Roadmap that identified the policy, regulatory and programmatic actions to enable the State to meet its 1,500 MW energy storage target by 2025 and 3,000 MW by 2030. This includes removing market barriers and accelerating customer sited, distribution and bulk storage to build a self-sustaining market. He helped with the creation of the NY-BEST Consortium (New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology) which is working to position New York State as a global leader in energy storage. Prior to joining NYSERDA, Jason was with the NYS Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (now part of Empire State Development) where he facilitated technology commercialization through industry and academic partnerships. Jason began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
